Selecting excellent leadership is essential to the continued health of any organization. As a volunteer-driven organization, we appreciate your nomination of dedicated individuals who will help direct the Society's progress and development. All committee terms run from January 1 through December 31.
Nominations for new members of APS Committees are now closed.
Both the nominator and nominee(s) must be current APS members. Nominators are welcome to submit multiple prospects. All submissions will be reviewed by the APS Committee on Committees, who will draw up a slate of candidates for the President-Elect to appoint.
Please include one or two paragraphs outlining your nominee's career highlights and a few sentences on why they are qualified to serve on the respective committee. This information is very valuable in the process of selecting candidates. You are welcome to send additional materials (such as a CV) to APS Governance (email@example.com).
Submit nominations through the online form, or email your nominee’s name and supporting documents to APS Governance.
Attracting and serving a diverse and inclusive membership worldwide is a primary goal for APS. Please give full consideration to qualified women and members of underrepresented communities, as well as candidates at different stages of their careers, and from outside the United States. Great nominees can be found in all fields of physics. Consider your colleagues in academia, government, and the private sector.
If you have any questions, please contact APS Corporate Secretary Jeanette Russo (firstname.lastname@example.org).
